Nike’s reworks its Air Force 1 with sustainable foam

Looking for a pair of everyday stylish sneakers? Here’s Nike with its latest product, The Nike Air force 1 Crater. It is a step towards Nike’s “Move to zero” efforts. It features a Nike Crater foam midsole which is a blend of standard Nike foams and 11 percent Nike grind rubber.

This latest replica of the Nike Air Force 1 redefines the shoe’s classic aesthetic using sustainable innovation without sacrificing iconic style. The sporty bold grey and black colours, the outline features solid-coloured panels that are contrasted against large portions of the shoe made from recycled materials make it the perfect go-to eco-friendly sneaker. 

The toe box is constructed with 24 percent PU recycled synthetic leather, while the venerable outsole stars are highlighted like never before and all thanks to the speckled 15 percent recycled Nike Grind outsole. The Nike Air Force 1's classic vamp is reimagined, revealing a recycled foam backer created with 20 percent recycled TPU (Thermoplastic polyurethane).
