Both the Multistrada V4 and V4 S will be available from next week at Ducati dealerships, and will be headlining Ducati’s family of adventure tourer motorcycles

Ducati has finally launched the much-awaited Multistrada V4 and V4 S in India. The Multistrada V4 and V4 S are now in their fourth generation and boast of the V4 Granturismo engine, which is designed to offer you a perfect experience of off-roading and touring at once.
Both the Multistrada V4 and V4 S as said are powered by V4 Granturismo engine that produces a peak output of 170 hp and 125 Nm in both the bikes respectively. Both the bikes now get a Ride-by-Wire system as well. The braking duties are performed by Brembo M4.32 callipers in front for the Multistrada V4 while the V4 S gets the Brembo Stylemma callipers for front. The Multistrada V4 and V4 S will get Pirelli Scorpion trail tyre setup in 19-17 inch for front and rear as standard, while another option of spoked wheels is being added to the Multistrada V4 S as standard, which will come to India later this year.
On the features front, both the Multistrada V4 and V4 S feature a TFT instrument cluster where the V4 gets a screen size of 5-inch and the latter gets a slightly bigger screen size of 6-8-inches. Toggling between the apps is a bit easier in the V4 S with a joystick while the V4 misses out on this one. The bikes come enabled with bluetooth featuring the Ducati Connect system, and Ducati Multimedia system. The Ducati Connect system enables the rider to gain information about the suspension setting and navigation on the TFTs, while the Multimedia system allows managing incoming/outgoing calls and music during rides. Keeping safety at paramount in both the bikes, safety features such as Cornering ABS, Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) with eight setting levels, Cornering Ducati Traction Control (DTC) are available as standard.

The new Granturismo V4 engine is specifically designed keeping touring and off-road riding in mind and it is the heart of this whole project. I am thrilled not just for the Ducatisti but also for this segment as the Multistrada V4 ushers in, with performance, design and technology that will make any enthusiast weak in his/her knees! I look forward to seeing it in India, especially on the roads less taken.”
The Multistrada V4 and V4 S as said will be available at your nearest dealerships by early next week, although you will have to wait for the spoked wheel variant of the V4 S until later this year. The Multistrada V4 is available at a stickered price of Rs 18.99 lakh and V4 S at Rs 23.10 lakhs in Ducati Red colour scheme while the V4 S gets an option of Aviator grey colour scheme that demands a premium of Rs 20,000 over the V4 S price.
